Seraphim D. Sparrow is an integral member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution, Appellate Practice, Outside General Counsel, and Plaintiffs Personal Injury practice groups.  Seraphim is an accomplished litigator, skilled at representing a diverse clientele involved in complex business disputes, insurance litigation, product defect cases, personal injury claims, wrongful death actions, and a variety of other civil litigation matters.

Before joining Frazier Law, Seraphim honed his skills as a Summer Associate and Associate at one of Arizona’s largest law firms.  There, he represented companies of all sizes—from small businesses to multi-million and to multi-billion-dollar companies—in complex breach of contract cases, product defect, professional negligence, general liability, and employment matters.  Seraphim also maintained a diverse personal injury practice in the areas of trucking accidents, premises liability, product liability, dog bites, and car accidents.

Seraphim has significant experience with all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial.  Since beginning his litigation practice, Seraphim has taken or defended more than 100 depositions and deposed experts in the areas of engineering, OSHA compliance, neurology, orthopedic surgery, psychiatry, chiropractic care, pain management, and lifecare planning.  Seraphim has a track record of strong written advocacy, including having drafted and won a Motion for Summary Judgment regarding a $1,000,000 punitive damages claim.  He also has arbitrated four cases, each time earning a verdict that beat the opposing party’s last settlement offer.

During his time at ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Seraphim gained valuable legal experience as an extern with the Honorable Judge Kenton Jones at the Arizona Court of Appeals, where he researched and helped draft memorandum decisions regarding complex civil and criminal legal matters.  Seraphim began his litigation experience early, achieving the top oral argument score in his Legal Advocacy course, and earning the CALI Award for his Law, Litigation, and Science course.  He also pursued his passion for positively impacting his community by serving as a student volunteer with the Homeless Legal Assistance Project and as a Rule 39 Limited Practice Student Attorney at the ASU Law Post-Conviction Clinic.  Finally, Seraphim honed his legal research and writing skills through service as an Executive Editor of the American Bar Association’s science and technology journal, Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science and Technology.

Before practicing law, Seraphim earned his undergraduate degree in political science, with honors, from the University of California, Davis.  While at UC Davis, Seraphim played Division 1 Men’s Rugby, served on the Campus Judicial Board, and learned to accept that he was never going to be a professional soccer player.

In his free time, Seraphim enjoys playing and watching soccer, hiking, and spending time with his wife.
